  9. loose, the following information has been forwarded:

  12.                 Two would-be robbers had a shock when
  13.                 they demanded money from a man walking
  14.                 his dog.

  16.                 When they confronted him in Hailsham,
  17.                 East Sussex, he immediately kneed one
  18.                 in the groin and felled the other with
  19.                 a karate-style chop to the upper body.

  21.                 One fled clutching his abdomen, leaving
  22.                 his accomplice lying on the ground but
  23.                 he too had gone when police arrived.
